Putting safety first is a fundamental part of our business. Holding this value and having the hard work of our Safety Manager results in our EMR rating being significantly lower than the national average.

Each employee goes through thorough safety training and their safety skills are constantly being updated.

KOH Mechanical has a zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use and has a mandatory drug-testing policy in place for all employees.

In the 33 years KOH Mechanical has been in business, we have not had a single OSHA citation or fatality.

At KOH Mechanical, people are our most important asset and their safety is our greatest responsibility. No job is so important that we cannot take proper time to perform it safely.

KOH Mechanical looks at housekeeping as a key component of efficiency as well as safety. All employees are required to maintain a clean work area throughout each day. Each employee is given at least 15 minutes each day to clean up their area and return tools & materials to the appropriate staging area. Project housekeeping and cleanup are overseen by the project foreman and safety director.
